Cavitation principle

Cavitation is due to the local low pressure of the liquid flow system (below the saturation vapor pressure of the liquid at the corresponding temperature) so that the liquid evaporates and the formation of cavitation bubbles (i.e., gas nuclei, generally below the radius of 20 μm) explosive growth of the phenomenon.
